Redinoce
beach is actually artificial as it was made on a concrete terrace
which has been filled up with fine sand. It is easily accessible,
only twenty minutes walk from the well indicated point along
the road from Procchio to Marciana and is still is a pleasant
place thanks to the transparent water and the vicinity to Paolina
Island. Sprizze beach is much loved by scuba-divers,
almost black in color and surmounted by a thick and exuberant
Meditterrranean bush, it offers crystal-clear water and rocks
in odd shapes. You get to the beach from the road leading from
the village Le Sprizze to Procchio-Marciana. Continuing along
the same road, in the village Bagno il Mulino, you come on to
the path that leads to Bagno beach, also dark in color
and framed by a few 19:th century buildings and a mill. Punta
Schioppo, a small cove, can be reached either from the sea
or from the residence situated on Punta Schioppo. The small
cala di Crocetta, (Crocetta cove) is absolutely spectacular
and you get there by taking on to a path that is not even indicated
but is located on a curve and that, thanks to a green gate,
is quite easy to find. What is fascinating about the cove is
the white and black rocks that blended give a pleasant chromatic
contrast. |

By taking on a rather uneven path from the Cotone district,
you get to the homonymous cove and rocks, protected by the fishermen
houses and a small harbor,. The large beach Marciana Marina
Marina is actually located in the center of the village but
as it not suitable for bathing, it is almost completely taken
by boats and offers a scenery, not exactly charming, of a modern
dock. If you do not want to leave the village, it would be better
to choose the well equipped and easily accessible Fenicia
or Fenicetta beach, on which the mighty Pisan Tower raises.
At at only a few kilometers outside Marciana Marina center going
towards Caletta you get to cala di Ripa Barata, where
the whole sea of the island Elba is revealed. You need to take
on to a path leading through the Mediterranean bush, and that
after about a ten minute walk leads you to this spectacular
natural scenery. At a few minutes walk from Caletta, Cala
beach, that borders with Marciana beach, offers a small, silent
and peaceful space covered with pebbles and stones.
